“Who we really are is usually much more attractive and influential than who we pretend to be.”

David Bradford, Stanford Graduate School of Business

Inspired by Stanford Business School’s most popular elective, Interpersonal Dynamics aka “Touchy Feely”, Group is a cohort based retreat that gives leaders the rare opportunity to learn how they are perceived by others and examine what makes them most influential and effective.

In Group, there is no scripted content, case studies or role plays. Instead, we look at the relationships happening “in the room” to help us learn more about ourselves and each other. Learning comes through looking at your own experiences and interactions, including feelings, reactions, perceptions, and behavior.

Group provides leaders with the freedom to communicate more candidly, experiment with new behaviors, re-examine experiences in light of feedback from others, and discover when they are most influential. Group members leave with greater self-awareness, empathy, choice and the confidence to build high trust relationships and teams.

Group is for leaders ready to:

  • Gain clarity on how others perceive you versus how you see yourself.

  • Lead and communicate more authentically—less pretending, more genuine connection.

  • Receive honest feedback about your presence and impact.

  • Give constructive feedback and navigate tough conversations with ease.

  • Communicate with empathy and compassion to bridge differences and strengthen relationships.

  • Understand your role in team and group dynamics and what you can do to help others work better together.

Group is offered as a 2-2.5 day in-person retreat. Each cohort has 10-12 members and two coach/facilitators.
